Leo W. Mack, Jr., MD, PA
Dr. Mack graduated at the top of his internship class in 1970, receiving the Outstanding Intern award. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in 1974. Dr. Mack served as an ophthalmologist in the military on Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, D.C. for two years before moving to East Texas to open his own ophthalmology practice in 1976. Less than 10 years later, in 1985, he founded The Cataract Center of East Texas, the first freestanding ambulatory surgical facility in East Texas. Specializing in cataract surgery and glaucoma management, Dr. Mack provides the personalized, dedicated eye care you deserve.
Dr. Mack was one of the first 100 candidates to be certified in cataract surgery by the American College of Eye Surgeons and has been specializing in this type of eye surgery for the past 30 years.
